The last few years have not been the easiest in Caroline Néron's life. After an extraordinary rise in the Quebec business community, she experienced a fall she could not have expected.
Her book, The Force of Trial, recounts this period of her life and the way in which she chose to rebuild herself, despite the pitfalls and failures. She talks about her good and less good shots and recounts certain events that have marked her career as an artist and businesswoman, the most beautiful as well as the ugliest.
Succeed despite failure
Success like failure does not always depend on just one element, but can be caused by several factors: lavish spending on her part, misplaced trust and betrayal, Caroline Néron does not deny her responsibility in the difficult situations experienced in the business world. She says all the same that the failure was preceded by great successes and the descent into hell that everyone knows does not detract from the great things that have been accomplished.
The cover of the book caused quite a stir. A nod to the "boys club" that is the business world and the ambient misogyny, Caroline Néron has become a feminist aware of male privilege in business. Fighting in a man's world and getting in the way because you're a woman is a reality well known to businesswomen.
Stand up and believe in the future
Caroline Néron will soon take over her jewelry sales business and has just put a new version of the store online. She is, moreover, back on the small as well as on the big screen in extraordinary roles which were offered to her as gifts: that of the mother in the film La Déesse des Mouches à Feu, by Anaïs Barbeau-Lavalette, and that of by the intriguing Pascale Lanier in District 31.
Caroline has always advocated visualization and this has played a big role in her reconstruction. Reconnecting with her personal, professional and artistic goals, trusting the right people, visualization has always helped her and allows her to give destiny a boost. Trials are part of life and an opportunity for growth. Accepting them is good, learning from them and using them to better chart your path is even better.
The book The Force of Trial was a way for Caroline to face her experience and use it to set the stage for a promising future. Written without pretension other than to share her experience and if possible help readers avoid falling into the same traps, this book is a story written by a woman of heart, imperfect but deeply human.
Available on our online store, La force de l'essai is a fascinating book that traces the journey of a leading Quebec businesswoman and artist who leaves no one indifferent.
